Ashley’s trio includes drummer Jules Chaz and bass player Sean Drabitt,
whom she has known and played with for many years. Playing anything
from straight ahead jazz, to Ashley’s original music, to more modern
day urban music, this trio’s groovy ambient landscapes will be sure to
take you on a wonderful journey.

Roots, This live instrumental hip-hop band featuring Sean Drabitt;
bass, Jules Chaz; drums, and Ashley Wey; keyboards, pay tribute to the
classic hip-hop beats. Special guest performers are to be expected in

This live 5-piece electro swing band is fusing the music of the 1920’s with the beats of today’s era of electronic music. The band consists of 2 DJ’s, a percussionist, a vocalist and myself on the keys. It’s joyous, fun and playful. This band is the first Electro Swing Band to hit Canada, and is rapidly igniting dance floors in and around Victoria, BC.

Ashley is highly regarded for her superb jazz piano stylings that can
be heard at many lounges and restaurants. Her unique
solo renditions create the perfect ambiance for cocktail parties,
corporate events, or private functions.

Distillery, Massey Hall for a
CBC support show, and The Indie Award Cermony for
Canadian Music Week 2006.
The Parachute Club was inducted
into the Indie Hall of
Fame on March 1st, 2006.

Warriors For Peace
Warriors For Peace are a drum and bass/jungle/ambient band with the
core quartet of Ashley Wey on keys/synths, Phil "Ambassador Tickler"
Marsand on the drums, Quaison Mangle on vocals and percussion and Lee
Hutchinson on the bass. With a heavy jazz influence, the trio
improvises strong grooves, crazy beats, and heavy tracks for anyone to
dance, or trance to.
The band is influenced by acts such as Roni
Size, Goldie, and Squarepusher, but do it all live,
improvised to no loops. The sound is fresh and finally brings D&B
to a new plateau at the performance level. The sound is always
different, but it always makes you want to move.
